As part of their critical business expansion and investment plans, Selco recognised the importance of Power Protection for both their retail and IT administration functions. Downtime in busy retail stores caused financial loses and disruption to their customers shopping experience. Keeping EPOS systems operating was paramount to Selco’s retail operation. Secondly, loss of power to important back office IT systems disrupted operational efficiencies and affected the ability for Selco staff to perform to their high standards.

Once an extensive free consultancy period was completed, APS recommended a cost effective multi-site Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) solution, ensuring we met both the operational & financial expectations of Selco.
The high quality Uninterruptible Power Supplies would be installed at Selco Head Office and 30 retail sites across the country and would protect Selco’s EPOS and IT infrastructure. This multisite solution included the supply, installation and commissioning of Uninterruptible Power Supplies for each site.
