Environmental Policy

APS supplies, installs and maintains standby power systems as detailed in our scope of registration.   The Company and all persons working for us or on our behalf are committed to the protection of the environment by complying with all regulatory, industry, customer and other identified environmental requirements.

Our operations will minimise any risk to the environment and personnel while seeking to conserve natural resources through the responsible use of energy and materials.   By continually improving our environmental performance with an emphasis on pollution prevention, we will train and develop our employees to carry out their work in a manner that will achieve our policy and objectives.   We will work with our suppliers and subcontractors to enhance our environmental performance, where possible with organisations who themselves have sound environmental policies and ensure that all waste products are transported and disposed of in the correct and fully traceable manner.   Our policy is therefore:

“To be Environmentally aware and operate responsibly at all times, wherever our operations may be undertaken”.

We will ensure that all its activities are carried out in conformance with all the relevant environmental legislation that relates to its environmental aspects.   In order to ensure the achievement of these commitments, we organisation have implemented an Environmental Management system, which satisfies the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001: 2015

We are committed to improving our environmental performance and reducing the environmental impacts of waste generation and disposal.   This will be achieved by setting annual environmental improvement objectives and targets, which will be regularly monitored and reviewed.

Our objectives and targets are communicated throughout the organisation and all persons working for or on behalf of the Company.   This policy is also available for the public to view on our website.   Consequently, it is important that everyone fully understands and attempts to comply with this policy at all times.   If anyone has any environmental concerns, at any time, they are requested to advise their Supervisor or Manager without delay.
