The Eaton 5PX Gen2 UPS delivers advanced line-interactive power protection for Enterprise Networks and Edge IT equipment, maximising IT space and service continuity. With a unity power factor, it provides 11% more power to connected servers than comparable UPS systems, optimising rack space utilisation. Energy Star 2.0 certification ensures best-in-class efficiency across the full operating range, reducing energy consumption and operational costs. Energy metering for individual outlet groups is readily available on the graphical LCD and through Eaton's Intelligent Power Manager.    

Enhanced Remote Management and Cybersecurity:

Simplify UPS configuration and maintenance with an intuitive graphical LCD and an easy start-up configuration wizard. 

The optional Eaton Gigabit Network Management Card (NETWORK-M2) enables remote management and firmware upgrades, offering the first UPS connectivity device to meet both UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 cybersecurity standards. Netpack models further enhance security with dual cybersecurity certifications and offer connection to Eaton’s Cyber Secured Monitoring cloud, ensuring secure remote monitoring and management.   

Increased Runtime and Robust Protection Capabilities:

Compared to the previous 5PX UPS, the Gen2 offers at least 25% increased standard runtime on 1.5 and 2 kVA models, extending uptime during power outages. Enhanced surge protection safeguards connected devices from power spikes, while load segment control allows for prioritisation of critical devices, ensuring maximum uptime for essential services. Advanced virtualisation capabilities make the Eaton 5PX Gen2 ideal for Enterprise and Edge IT applications, offering secure and reliable power protection.
